I am Pavitra Tandon and I’m a self-taught artist, based in Mumbai, India. 

The connection between me and my art is ethereal. I love to paint a new story, with every stroke of the brush. 

 

Having never studied art, I had a very humble beginning, coming from a small town of Lakhimpur Kheri in UP. Despite that, art had always been my passion. Today I am very happy to live the life of my dreams, because I got the opportunity to change my passion into a beautiful profession. 

 

I created my brand, ”Pavitra’s Artwork” in 2015, under which I created all forms of art. I take pleasure and honour to do customised paintings on order, create home decor items like wall clocks, serving trays, decorative bottles, key holders, nameplates etc. I also conduct painting classes and workshops for all ages.

I love to experiment with Indian art, and hope that someday it will be as popular as modern art is today. 

 

Looking at where I am today, I have come to realise that it is never too late to take the first step towards what you want to achieve.
